    Impossible to Reach CS - No Instructions for Light - Light doesnt hang correctly

    Here’s my feedback.

    One star

    Headline- don’t buy this product and don’t buy anything from Jay Lighting

    1. No instructions of any kind. We figured it out by looking at installed pictures online. But there was nothing in the box to assist.

    2. The biggest issue is connecting the wires to the chain. The wires are twisted. The chain is very thin. So the twisted wires control the shape and the end result is the chain doesn’t have the swag that a natural hanging chain would have- it’s twisted and just looks awful. Additionally, the clips that are in the box- which I assume are to connect the wire to the chain but there are no instructions- don’t really work. They only bring the wire and chain together at the point of clip connection and then they separate. We wound up buying fishing line to keep the wire connected to the chain- it connected the two but resulted in a twisted chain. This product has not been well thought through. Very disappointing.

    3. I expected more light. This is hanging in a two story foyer and projects very little light downward to brighten the entry area. The cheap builder grade fixture that was there before did a better job of lighting the entry.

    4. Finally- there is no customer support. I have sent three emails to the support email and haven’t gotten a response to any.

    Thumbs down on the product and thumbs down on Jay Lighting.
